Short Run Printing, Ltd.
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 8, 2026
Short Run Printing, Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data when you use our website (“our Website”) and our printing, mailing, and related services.
Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account or place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and shipping and billing addresses.
Payment Information: We collect payment details necessary to process your transactions. Payments are processed through PayPal and Authorize.net. Credit card numbers and payment credentials are transmitted directly to these payment processors and are not stored on our servers. We retain only transaction reference IDs, amounts, and confirmation details for our order records.
Uploaded Files: When you submit files for printing, we store those files on our servers for the purpose of producing your order. Please see “Data Retention” below for details on how long files are kept.
Mailing List Data: If you use our mailing services, you may provide us with mailing lists containing names and addresses of your recipients. This data is used solely to process your mailing order and is not used by us for any other purpose.
Automatically Collected Information: When you visit our Website, certain information is collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies as described below.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
• To process and fulfill your print and mailing orders
• To communicate with you about your orders, quotes, proofs, and account
• To calculate shipping rates and arrange delivery of your orders
• To process payments
• To send occasional service updates or promotional communications (you may opt out at any time)
• To improve our Website, services, and customer experience
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
Third-Party Services
We share your information with third-party service providers only as necessary to fulfill your orders and operate our Website. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. We do use cookie-based advertising services (such as Google Ads remarketing) that show our ads to previous visitors of our Website; these services do not receive your name, email address, or other account information from us. The third-party services we use include:
• UPS and FedEx: Shipping addresses and package details are shared with carriers to calculate shipping rates and deliver your orders.
• UPS Capital (InsureShield): If shipping insurance is included with your order, shipment details are shared with UPS Capital to provide coverage.
• United States Postal Service (USPS): For mailing services, recipient names and addresses from your mailing list are included on mail pieces inducted into the USPS mail stream. Once mail is inducted, delivery is handled entirely by the USPS.
• PayPal: Payment information is transmitted to PayPal to process transactions securely. PayPal’s use of your data is governed by PayPal’s Privacy Policy.
• Authorize.net: Credit card payments may be processed through Authorize.net, a Visa solution. Card details are transmitted directly to Authorize.net for authorization and are not stored on our servers. Authorize.net’s use of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
• AccuZip: For mailing services, address data is processed through AccuZip software for CASS certification and NCOA address standardization as required by the USPS.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Website, and Google Ads to advertise our services and measure the effectiveness of our advertising (conversion tracking). We also use Google Ads remarketing, which uses cookies to show our ads to people who have previously visited our Website as they browse other sites in Google’s advertising network. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on, and learn more about interest-based advertising opt-outs generally at aboutads.info/choices.
• Microsoft Clarity: We use Microsoft Clarity on some pages to understand how visitors interact with our Website through session replays and heatmaps (for example, which parts of a page are scrolled or clicked). This data helps us find and fix usability problems. Microsoft’s use of this data is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Microsoft Advertising and Reddit Ads: When you reach our Website by clicking one of our ads on Bing or Reddit, those platforms may set cookies or pass click identifiers that allow us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
• Google reCAPTCHA: We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA may collect hardware and software information and send it to Google for analysis. Google’s use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
The sharing described above excludes text messaging opt-in data and consent. No mobile opt-in data or text message consent will be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Website uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
• Essential Cookies: Session cookies are required for our Website to function properly. They maintain your login state, keep track of your quoting and ordering progress, and ensure secure operation. These cookies are deleted when you close your browser or after a period of inactivity.
• Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous data about how visitors interact with our Website, such as which pages are visited and how long users stay. This helps us improve our Website and services.
• Advertising Cookies: Google Ads and other advertising platforms we use may set cookies to (a) measure conversions — for example, when a visitor completes an order after clicking one of our ads — and (b) support remarketing, so we can show our ads to previous visitors of our Website on other sites. These cookies help us measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertising. See “Third-Party Services” above for opt-out options.
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookie preferences through their settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using key features of our Website, such as placing orders or managing your account.
Data Retention
Account Data: Your account information (name, email, phone, company, addresses) is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at the address below.
Uploaded Files: We aim to retain uploaded print files for at least one (1) calendar year from the date of upload for your convenience in reordering. After that period, files may be deleted without notice. We recommend maintaining your own copies of all submitted files.
Order Records: Order history and transaction records are retained indefinitely for accounting, tax, and customer service purposes.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our Website uses SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers. Payment processing is handled by PayPal and Authorize.net through their secure infrastructure, and we do not store credit card numbers on our systems.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Children’s Privacy
Our Website and services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below.
Communications
We may send you emails related to your account, orders, quotes, or proofs. These transactional communications are a necessary part of our service and are not considered promotional.
From time to time, we may send promotional communications such as special offers or company updates. Every promotional email will include an option to unsubscribe. If you opt out of promotional emails, you will continue to receive transactional emails related to your orders and account.
Text Messaging (SMS): If you provide us with your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, we may send you text messages related to your quotes, orders, proofs, shipping, and customer service, and, where you have opted in, occasional promotional messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can reply HELP or contact us using the information below for assistance.
No mobile information, mobile opt-in data, or text messaging consent will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party. We use a telecommunications provider solely to deliver our messages, and information may be shared with subcontractors only in support of the services we provide to you, such as customer service.

You have the right to:
• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information
