The ground rules

• Order placed and print-ready files uploaded by 10:00 AM AZ.
• Proofs must be approved within 30 minutes of being sent — a same-day job is holding a press slot and a flight.
• Up to about 24,000 letter-size impressions (roughly 3½ hours of press time). Use the checker below to see if your job fits.
• Delivery is airport pickup at your nearest Southwest Cargo facility — available for addresses within 100 miles of a served airport.

The honest fine print

• Same-day pickup may exist for some airports, but not all — it depends on that day's flight schedule to your city. Many destinations land early the next morning instead.
• Your quote shows the real flight-based availability time for your airport before you commit — and the schedule is not confirmed until your freight is actually delivered to the airport.
• Phoenix-area customers: same-day store pickup instead — no flight needed.

How it works

• This is airport-to-airport, not door-to-door. You (or your recipient) pick the order up at the destination airport's Southwest Cargo facility.
• Available at 87 Southwest Cargo locations across 42 states, including Hawaii.
• Moves any day the receiving cargo facility is open — including most weekends, when ground services don't run.
• Fewer handoffs than parcel ground means fewer delays and less chance of damage.
• Air cargo can't be blind-shipped. FAA security rules require a known, verified shipper, so Short Run Printing's name appears as the shipper on the air waybill.

Pricing & booking

$2.95 per pound, with a $295 minimum (roughly a 100 lb minimum). Shipments to Hawaii are $3.95 per pound with a $395 minimum. Final cost depends on weight and destination.

Same-day availability may exist for some airports, but not all — air cargo runs on live commercial flight schedules, so timing depends on the day's available flights to your airport.
